Business Planning Made Easy

Hi everyone, what a year! It is December already and it is time to think about what you want to accomplish next year and beyond. I usually start my business plan for the following year in October to give me time to really think about where I want to be and what I want to accomplish. I like to keep it simple (KISS – Keep It Simple Smarty), so I created My One Page Business Plan below and wanted to share it with you. I have a longer version that I use for longer term strategic planning.

“It is better to do 6 things 1000 times than 1000 things 6 times” ~Ivan Misner

I am a big fan of Ivan Misner and all of his materials and philosophies. He has a way of focusing on the essentials that simplifies what you do each day. I remember earlier in my self-employment throwing anything I could out to the market to see if anything would stick or anyone would call. I now have 6-8 practices and programs that I implement each year to generate my business. It mainly focuses on past clients and it keeps me focused on the priorities of my business so that I can spend more time doing the things I like to do in my life – like this blog.
